I have started researching injectors and thought I would get your opinions. I tow a 5th wheel and a stock trailer, but I also like to have a little fun on the street. What I am looking at are the DDP Stage2, DDP Stage3 or the 370's. I have read on here that the 370's have hazing issues at idle, how fast does this clear when taking off? I will also plan on a new turbo, HTBG57 or one of the 62's HTT or I. I. I don't know yet.

I still need to get the 3k springs as well.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

I have 370's and they do haze at idle and the spray pattern is not correct but the price is right for the upgrade. DDP 2's and 3's are a better choice but cost more. If I had to do it again I would probably spring for spending more and getting the better injector. I'm thinking of doing it anyways. You know the bombing bug, It's never done! :-laf :-laf

i have 330s and have a pretty clean idle but with the stock plate full forward it can get fairly black if i hit it too hard off the line but once i make 5# of boost i can just about mat it without killing the cars behind me, not sure how hot they would get with a real load, i was running about 1300 holding 70 mph with the ac on in mid 90* temps pulling a 73 f350 on a 1500# trailer with up a good long steep virgina hill, this was before i ditched the stock exhaust and moved the plate

For the price, you can't beat 370's. I got mine for $200. However they do leave a lot to be desired. I get worse fuel economy, and quite frankly the stumble makes the truck sound like a beater. I've been told that I can upgrade the DV's and the stumble will go away. But if you have the money, do the DDPs. From what I can tell, the haze never fully disappears. At night with a car behind me I can see a slight haze even at really light throttle. I will be upgrading to the DDP4's though when I get the funds.

I have some slightly larger than stock 370's. They are great. Slight haze at idle, nothing bad though. Fuel economy didnt change noticeably, power went up a ton. Turbo spools way quicker too.

Id suggest the 370's to anyone for the price. Then spend the money you saved on GSK's, or put it towards a Turbo that will be needed soon after.

I have 370s that I bought from PDR. They take the time to match them in a set. No stumble. Very little tremble and only at light throttle with no load on a hill. My mileage is a little better. A little bit of haze at idle. A lot of smoke at WOT at low RPM. Clears up pretty good once it gets going. Pulling a hill with a load in OD will kill every skeeter in the area.

After running almost a dozen sets of injectors in my 12v, including 370's, I would spend the extra money on DDP injectors.

Also if you are considering this size of injector I would probably bypass the 57 turbo and go straight to the 62.

So if I go with DDP injectors which set would you go with if you did towing with some playing?

No doubt the Stage 3's would spool the 62, but will the Stage 2's,

With a 215 pump, 215 injectors, #10 plate stock position, 3gsk,and a soft afc spring I had a HTB2 62/12 on my 96 and it spooled great, even pulling a 12k trailer. The only difference I see in my truck and yours is the gearing. Good luck in your choice.

I just LOVE my DDP stage 4s. I had 370's before also. Hated the haze and poor fuel economy. The DDP 4s are pretty dang clean until you mash it. Then you can black out everyone behind you. Smoke control is better than the 370 or 215s for sure. Towing is not a problem either. In fact it seems to run cooler than w/ the 370s. Yeah, they are expensive but I definately do not regret buying them. :)
