Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector going Bad?

Iv'e got stock injectors w/163K on them and the last 30K i've been running the Stage 5 Jammer nozzles.

The last few weeks Its been starting a little harder (just crank just a little longer than the usual 2cranks before start) and it runs a little rough with white smoke for 5-10 seconds then smooths out and smoke clears up.

The truck seems to run flawlessly otherwise except it feels like im missing some HP. So are these symptoms of a possible bad injector or do I have another prob? It started about the same time I blew my HG and thought the white smoke was from the HG but o-ringed the block and changed HG and still these symptoms.

Take them or have them taken out and pop tested and you will know then, have an idea what injectors might be good replacements. The APPS adjustment is a good step for fueling.

Another member on here is seeing the exact same problem. He replaced his injectors with a set of our 150's hoping that would cure it but now it is looking more like a VP issue. Its going to dodge today because its not setting any codes. To see if they can find a code.

Hopefully not a vp issue -its a brand new blue chip fedex pump that i paid dearly for! I'll just take them out and have them tested and go from there. Hopefully its a bad injector that way I "have" to get a set of Machs : )
