Hey guys looking from some help picking between injectors. Ive been looking at Mach 1 or RV 275's. I tow a 5er and really like my Smarty. I'm just looking for a little more. I'm interested in hearing about your experiences with similar setups. Looking at EGT, MPG, and Smoke. Don't get me wrong I like the smoke of the Smarty but I don't think I need more. A little less might be nice.

MIKE

Any bigger injector will give you more smoke. THe RV275's and mach 1's aren't in the same league or price for that matter. THe F1 mach series are some of the best injectors to date, you get what you pay for.

Beware with more power, your clutch may not hold 50HP injectors with the smarty.

stock HO clutch is not good for more than about 100hp over stock, I slipped mine with just the comp (100hp on the HO). I now have a juice and 150HP injectors, too big.

gonna try a s300 turbo and 100HP mach 2 that should be better,

unless you are ready to do a clutch, or your 5th wheel is not bigger that 7-8k (25ft w/slide) I would not go bigger or if I did, go with the rv275. with either you will be near the limit of your stock HX35. The PDR 35/40 has been working well for me at 100HP. Close, but not enough for the 150's even with the juice on #1/1 (+180-200hp).

I was wonderng about the clutch. I tow about 12000#. So I guessing that it would not hold up. I thought the 275 or maybe even the Mach 1's might be close enough to the limit that I might get away with it.

Go for it !!!

Mike, you'll like the injector swap. I've got the 275's in mine and pull a 36' 5th with 3 slides.

If you're worried about too much power just turn the Smarty down. I haven't slipped my clutch yet, but I'm not finished. It's a slippery but fun slope.

On SW3, it feels like stock torque management. I use it for towing and really like it. I tried SW5 towing and found it too responsive for cruise control. Empty driving, well it is usually on SW9:-laf just in case... ... .
