Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector Install Torque Question

I have the DD instructions for installing injectors and it says to tighten the injector retaining clamp bolts to 89 inch-lbs. I do not have a torque wrench at this time, so can I just put those back on "good and tight" without hurting anything?

You can, just remember that they are small, if you twist off #6 you will have a job ahead of you. Mike

89 inch pounds isn't much..... less than 7. 5 ft pounds... . I'd just go get a torque wrench if it where me... .

I got the injectors installed. Mach 1. 6. They are great, I wish I had done this sooner, and some how I haven't slipped the cluch yet. Yes I had to try 5x5 too.
