Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Injector life

A buddy of mine at work has a '97 CTD with 112K miles. He is wondering how long he can expect the injectors to last? Routine maintenance on the trruck only, no significants repairs so far, little to no towing.

I have 375,000 + miles on mine, they are still fine.

Mine lasted about 200,000.

Mine rolled 352,000 yesterday and the originals are still working quite well.

I've been told several times by the people at PDR that "about" 200,000 is typical.

Well guess some of us need replacements. Should I go with another set of stock injectors or does anyone have a recommendation? :-laf

What do you do with your truck???



I cant use all the hp that this #10 plate gives because of the egts when towing. . When I am running empty... its a kick in the seat. . If I were to run the 370s things would get much hotter. .

I wanted a set of the EDMs but they dont offer them anymore so I guess when I replace these. . I may just go back with stock 215s
