My #6 injector is loose I tried tightening it with a crows foot and that is just a hair to big. I have a deep well socket to use to tighten the nut. My question is can I just loosen the injector line and the return line and pull them away or do I need to take them completely off? When they did my timing they just pulled the line away and worked liked that.

Thanks,

Doug

the nut on a 94-98 12v use a 19 mm or 3/4" wrench. when doing timing or anything which requires removing the line, it is best to remove the lines. If u are doing timing, then i remove the fisrt three lines since they come off in a group. I also set TDC with the number 1 injecter out to insure acurate TDC. the return line if i only have to pull number one, then i bend it slightly, any more than that and they all come off. Make sure to replace copper washeres when pulling lines or returns. IN none are handy warm them up with a torch

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the part numbers are for the copper washers and how many do I need per injector?

Thanks,

Doug
