Oil Pan replacement Question

Dead Pedal

just wondering if anyone has had good results only changing out the nozzles instead of the complete injector ? my truck is 2004.5 with banks econominder programer and iq dash, cold air intake and 4" exhaust w banks muffler and cat 2 micron filter. when cold truck smokes a little on start up for a few minutes with a very slight stumble. no codes,no other running issues, lift pump in tank tested 14 psi @ idle and 11 @ wot . all injectors ohmed out at .6 both cold and warm. so do you think nozzles would be a bad idea ?

Nozzle installation is part of injector setup, don't do it correctly and the injector will not work right. If the pintle seat in the injector is worn the rest of the injector has associated wear, changing nozzles on a worn injector is akin to putting lipstick on a pig. ;)

Our 3rd gen trucks did not have enough fuel filtration from the start. I'm sure you didn't go 2 micron to well into the life of of the vehicle so there is damage already. Mine smokes at 198k runs great, I can pour on the coal too. Remember all injectors are not created equal be careful what you buy if you go this rout.
