1996 12v, stock plate slid forward, K&N replacement filter with added cold air intake (3 inch), 4 inch exhaust.

You may have seen the post about my CTD drama. What I think is the issue now is my injectors... So I need to order new.

I use my truck as a DD and to pull my Jeep (Jeep and trailer = ~6500#). I don't race... and I don't need to win any drag races (though that might be cool)... I do need to pull over the Appalachain mountains (NC, TN, VA, WV... ). I want to have controlled EGT's, the lower the better. I don't want to get into a situation of having to add other BOMB's to make a set of injectors happy... I want some that are going to match my mods I have now.

Opinions? DDP 3's? DDP 2's? Bosch 70? Bosch 90? Bosch 215?

Have your stock 215's checked out, with 435's 70hp or 90hp your egt's will be too high for an HX35.

I had DDP 2s installed vice the 215s. The 2s are supposed to smoke less and provide a bit more power. After the original install(including a #10 fuel plate at set about 1/2 way forward), I didn't have any EGT issues and little smoke. EGTs would hit 1250 when doing 90mph when I floored the truck from a stop sign on flat ground. Never pushed it beyond that because 90 was fast enough. Didn't tow in the mountains so I can't talke to that. Dynomite Diesel was doing some work on injectors for 12vs I heard some good things about, you might want to talk to them and see what they can do. If I hadn't gone with the DDP 2s I would have installed 215s.

I would see how much it would cost to rebuild the 215's, it might be cost effective to go that route. McLaughlin, you have the 180 pump, jeepullr has the 215, big difference. :)

That picture shows nothing until they are cleaned. Mine looked like that after just a few miles. Put them in an ultrasonic cleaner and have them pop tested by a diesel shop
