What are the symptoms of a clogged and/or partially clogged injector(s)? Does the ECM exhibit a particular fault code for this?

Thanks.

I really doubt there would be a code. Idle would be rough, but it would smooth out for the most part at higher RPM. Power would be down a little. There should be one particular RPM where it shakes the engine pretty good if one injector is clogged too. If you think you have an injector clogged take it to Cummins, they can pop a computer on it and test each by shutting them down individually and measuring the changes in the engine sensors. Then take the diagnostic info to Dodge for warranty repair if Cummins finds a problem. This will cost you about $150, but at least the problem wil be found and the hassle will be as low as possible.

Another way to find the cylinder that is weak or misfiring is by checking the exhaust temp. of each cylinder. I use a infrared thermometer, measuring each exhaust outlet at the head/manifold. Larry

Any Dodge dealer has the machinery to perform an injector kll test on the Isb..... The drb111 very easy very quick.

If you prefer not to take it into the shop you can figure out which cylinder is causing the problem by loosening the injector lines. Kinda like pulling the spark plug wire on a gasser.
