Injector Pump Problems

Hey Guys,I Need Some Advice , On My First generation Truck, VE Pump Im Getting Small Pieces Of Metal Stopping My Shutdown Solenoid From Either Opening Or Closing, Should I Have The Pump Rebuilt Or Can I Just Replace Whats Bad In The End Of the Pump , The Engine Is At 113,000 Miles And Dont Miss

Pump time, I'm affraid. In fact that is what you'd want to look for.



I'd pull the pump. The less you tear up the thicker your wallet will be. It has got to be a "good" core for credit. If they disassemble it and discover she is shot, you'll have to pay core price on top of the rebuld cost. Bout another $400. 00
