Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector pump

I see the thread about the injector pump failure. Just in case mine does go, what injector pump would be the best to put in to replace it, the same VP44, or would a different one be better to replace it?? Any suggestions?

go with stock rebuilt for replacement, but go with a good aftermarket lift pump
