Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Injector question

I used a close pipe nipple(the one that's all threads), It was 3/4" pipe. Cost less than $1 at the hardware store. Anyway, it needs to be just big enough to slide over the top of the injector after you pull the retainer off. Then take one of your lug nuts off, screw it on the top of the injector, and tighten it down. Pops them right out, no jerking, prying, or beating that could mess up your threads.

I made a small slide hammer for mine using a injector line nut to screw down on the inj. # 5 & 6 are the boogers some time with most trucks.
 
CRowhedder I use one of my lug nuts and thread it on the injector then use a large end wrench to tuck the closed end under the nut and pry up by leveraging on a head bolt or whatever is close by. They can be a pain if they've been in there awhile. When putting in the injectors use a little anti-sieze on the bodies.
