I'm wanting to change the injectors in my truck . I'm running the stock ones with a stacked TST and Edge EZ with an HTB2 62/12 turbo. Also have a 3 piece HTT exhaust with 4" to the back, Banks Air Horn, ATS valve body with a billet torque converter. Running about 35lbs boost and my EGT's run about 1300 at WOT. My mileage had dropped lately from 18 to about 14. 5 in town. Can I upgrade the sticks without causing my EGT's to get out of hand and what should I get? Truck is a daily driver used to tow some but not alot. Truck is an 01 with the stock intercooler boots. I was thinking about changing them also.

Get some ~90HP sticks and use control EGT's with the TST settings. Sticks and the EZ's timing should help milage if you drive normally:D

F1 Mach series are very highly regarded. The Mach 1. 6 is rated at 90 HP on an HO motor, more than enough for towing.

Why would their rating come from a HO motor instead of a SO like every other brand of injector? This is a first for me..... I thought they were all rated from a SO motor,

I'll swear it was a quote from Bob Wagner, who I bought the injectors from. The way I hear it, the Mach 1. 6 is rated for 80-85 HP on the Standard Output (SO) motor and 90 HP on the High Output (HO) motor. Back when the trucks were factory stock, the HO motors came with smaller injectors than the SO motor, yet made more power. Why smaller injectors? Probably to stay within the emissions limits and still be rated for more power. The difference is in the timing, both ECM and VP44 are different between the two motors. One of the reasons that power adders, like the Edge Comp, make more power gain in an SO than an HO is because some of the improvement (timing) is already used up in the HO motor. Likewise, stock HO motors tend to make a little more power than stock SO motors with the same injectors. In general, I would say it's not fair to make power improvement claims based on the HO motor because the majority of motors are SO, so they are the standard.

Ok... . I miss understood. Yes I know you will get a 10-15 hp increase on a HO vs a SO. I thought you were saying that they rate all their injectors on a HO.
