I have a 03 305/555 motor, what injectors came stock with it? I read some folks change out to 50 HP injectors to "get better fuel mileage" How does this injector business work? I read in previous post to make more power you need more fuel so bigger injectors give more fuel? How does this increase mileage? What would the optimum injector be for this motor be, if it just had exhaust and intake and a smarty? Thanks

The reason they get better mileage from what I understand is because the GPH flow rate is much closer between the honed injectors and the stockers. Closer flow rates equals better efficiency I guess.

The injector or the component's use to inject the fuel are not bigger or change in any form shape or size, the tips are modded. . there are many ways to to this, all of it takes someone with High tech tools and machining experience. I have tried many sizes. My prefer tip for mileage is factory,if you want more power go with larger tips,Tips run about $60. 00 X6=$360. 00 divide that by $3. 00 Per Gallon=120 Gallons, even if you were to gain 2 miles Per gallon 36 gallonsX2= 72miles divide that 15 MPG=4. 8 . You will need to fill the Tank 25 times to = the $360. 00 you invested into the tips. I hope the math is correct.
