Well ok, maybe I could back off the plate a little. It's all the way forward now, but when I backed it off the last time with 215's the power went limp!
I have a Mega Cannon air system & an HX-40 turbo, that's why I thought I could get away with the 370's. I'm pulling a 9000 lb. trailer & when I get to a hill I'm running 34-40 lbs boost & the egt's will peg the meter in nothing flat, but I can pull anything 80+ mph!
My gauge goes to 1500, now I don't let it stay there long, (2-3 seconds) and it's hard to keep it under 1300 when passing someone while towing. But then it's hard to keep in under 80 also.
As for the plate # I don't know what it is as it's an ATS plate & they don't number them but claim it will put out 325 hp. with stock injectors.
there is a set of injectors between the 215 and the 370 they are 300hp bosch marine injectors they are good for 40- 50 hp increase on a 175 pump (so piers said) I don't know what the 370 are but they sure made a difference on teh bottom end. I just took my 300's out and installed 370's
You prolly cant tow 9000lbs at 80mph up hills and be hammer down unless you want to spend a lot of money on airflow improvemts. A 325hp rated plate with stock injectors is a radical plate not meant for towing I bet. My plate is a #11 which is 285hp with stock injectors and you can see all the other stuff in the sig, but my EGTs towing a 6000lb trailer are not a problem on hills unless I try to increase speed quickly, otherwise it stays about 1100-1200 at 70mph on pretty good hills.
