I would like to get some injectors. I have thought about 275's but now am leaning towards like a stage 2 or 3 injector. My pickup is a 01 ETH/DEE. (Want to be able to smoke brother-in-laws ETC 5-speed with Edge EZ and 4 inch straight pipe. ) What injectors will do this. Kind-of leaning towards injectors only because they are easier on the VP-44 aren't they? What would you guys recomend. Is this feasible and not harmful to the truck. It already has a boost elbow on it and runs 25 psi boost, but sets no codes for over boost. Let me know what any of you think or how to line me out.

Thanks

If you are going bigger than 275's you will need some sort of boost fooler so you dont set codes in the ECM. A plain old boost fooler can be had for around $80 I believe or you can go with your choice of box that has one built in. I am very suprised you have not set codes yet if you are getting 25 psi as we speak.

If you are dead set on going with just injectors I think you will need at least 2's to run with the ETC, 3's would take care of it for sure. Here is a good Q & A thread you should read on injectors and the life of the VP44. Note the last paragraph to explain duty cycle of the VP44 and the myth that injectors are not harder on the pump.

Best of luck to you in your decision making process. Oh, and welcome to the dark side!! :D Oo.
