injector questions

Thinking about trading my 03 for an 06. I've got 125,000 on the 03. I have kept it up pretty well, but it needs some work done on the front end. When can I expect injector troubles? I had thought I would put in stage 1's to go with my Quad towing box. This means a new clutch and maybe a turbo as well. Seems like instead of spending all that money in bombing, I might be better off trading. Comments or suggestions? Thanks, RC.

You just got the truck broke in . I'd keep it you will probably get better mileage with the 03. You have the HO motor ,all the bells and whistles, you are just now getting the return on your investment. Put a few bucks in it , keep it

Your current truck with injectors, quad box and turbo would straight up smoke a stock 06.



Get the front end worked out, put a few more fun mods in and the truck will be all fresh to you again.

as nice as the 06 trucks are you have a nice setup and I would keep it, like others have said the millage is going to better on your current rig no matter what. I would do the upgrades and fixes on yours and keep it. I miss my 01 for its millage and power just glad I still have it in the family.

Thanks guys. I had 10 trucks in 10 years till I bought this truck. It was my first Cummins. I've had it 2 1/2 years and have had very few problems. My dealer has one I like and I kinda got the itch but I think you all helped me come to my senses! Thanks, RC.
