Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector questions

1. Does anyone know the Cummins part number for the prefered 275 injector? 2. The Cummins part number for the 300 hp ISB RV engine? 3. What are the differences between the two.

A search will turn up the part number easily. Just search on "275 part number"



If I remember, the 300HP ISB uses the same 275 injector as the 275 rating. The difference comes from extra pump fueling.



This is not true for the old, marine 12V motors. The 370 Marine injectors are a totally different beast.



The part number is a Bosch part number, not a Cummins one.



Here it is: 0 432 193 635 .



Try the search, it's a great feature. I found this pretty quickly.

Hohn Thanx for your help. I need to have the Cummins number because I am going through the Cummins dealer that we have a contract with at work.

When I did a search I found the Bosch number really quick, but not the Cummins number. The ISB parts book that I have shows two different numbers for a 275 hp injector. The book was printed before the 300 hp engine was released.

Can't your Cummins guy cross-reference the Bosch number?? I mean, most of the Cummins injectors are Bosch units anyway, so wouldn't they have to be able to reference it?



I would at least hope they would.
