My mechanic just called me and said He didn't want to try pulling out the injectors (for my rv275 nozzel swap) because he said it looks like you need a special tool to get the injectors out of the head. Does any one know the PN to this tool and do I have to go to Cummins to get it?

Thanks

Walt

All you have to do is pull the injector line away from the connector tube, then use a small screw driver to pry the connector tube out, (its held by an oring), then screw an intake manifold bold into the top of the injector, and use a large pair of needle nose pliers pry the injector out, using the rocker arm as a pry-point.

One of the bolts from the intake air horn (the one the intercooler boot connects to) and an angled pair of needle-nose pliers is all that is required to pop the injectors out.
