putting new injectors in my 04. 5 dodge. when I went to put the wires on the top posts I noticed the the brown and red wires are backwards in all the pics I see vs. the picture I took when I pulled them. could mine have been wired wrong by the last guy in there??? or is my truck just different? it ran before just had a miss when cold. not sure how to proceed with putting this back together

thank you for any help

About the same. It runs better when it's warm outside. Go figure... Still saving up for new injectors.

Can you replace the solenoid without removing the injector? I got a # 2 cylinder missfire code the other day. I have BAD oil leak that has been going on since the trans was pulled and replaced. I replaced the valve cover gasket myself but it still leaks! Im thinking the dipstick tube is cracked somewhere because it only leaks under pressure. You can't see a leak when it is idling but it is sure there after I have been pulling. About 3 gals a week! Thanks for your time

Yes. . You can. But you need to be Very Very careful. if the injector turns $$$,also it must be clocked to the same position or the wires will be short. Solenoids rarely go bad,it like a hurricane in MN. Replacing the solenoid O-ring is touchy when in the head.
