Olee installed my DD2s when he RASP'd my truck. Diesel Dynamics claims 90 RWHP for HO, no reason to doubt em. The ride home was great! However my Filterminder kept pegging out. My airbox was intoduced to my doorknob cutter 6 times on the bottom and once on each side below the filter of course, the F/M has since retired. Your price quote for the DD2s installed seems reasonable.
also on Diesel Dynamics web site great instructions. . and local guys will lend some help usually.
as to which ones... look at the Diesel Dynamics Jammer series also
which is better kind of up to you there. .
I have Diesel Dynamics DDIII's and have had them for many miles two sets on two trucks an like them, a bit smokey for some
the newer EDM are nice and have come a long way with several guys making great progress on R&D, great power and low smoke. . I will be using Don M's after I twin turbo my rig.
Diesel Dynamics injectors are extrude honed & they are good injectors. The EDM process is more precise resulting in better atomization of the fuel. Don's are amongst the best available. He's done a lot of R&D with spray pattern & angles. The install is a doable job for even a guy with fumbleing fingers like me. #'s 5&6 are cramped to get at & a stubby 19 mm wrench is really helpful. I used a crows foot 19 mm to torque the fuel lines but I had to guesstimate on # 6.
