Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) injectors and box ?

Just got done installing my christmas presents! Ripps 4 inch exhaust,vulcan big line pusher pump kit and a set of 60 hp edge jammer injector

nozzles. Loved all of it but I just had to try the injectors with the superchips programmer. Set it on tow safe runs like a scalleded dog, but around

2000 to 2100 rpms in 6th gear theres a noticible hesistation . Took programmer back off and with just injectors runs smooth as can be ?? Thinking

about selling the superchips and looking at maybe and edge ez or something?

I don't think the hesistation would be clutch slipping but ?? Any suggesetons

on a small box just for an added kick while Im not pulling anything??

Stock clutch so a comp is out of the question want to stay kind of mild anyway.

After I first put in my Jammers I had a superchip programmer and tried it to and had major bucking and surging under power. I attribute this to the programmer being a timing box only and a pretty aggressive one at that. Good injectors and certain timing boxes just dont jive well together IMO. I have a Comp now and love it but my tires dont

All I can elaborate is that with that superchip by itself my truck ran good and smooth. After the Jammers were in it would buck like it was against a rev limiter even though it would keep accelerating. It drove around fine under light to medium throttle but once you wooded it,it would act like their was a strobe light hooked up to the fuel line. Pull the program out and it would run BETTER and boost was even 5lbs higher. The COMP I have now when its in the lower settings does the same thing when its cold out but its a light shudder nothing like that superchip did. The Superchip was a cool deal when I first got it but it is not something that can grow with your power appetite like a Comp or a TST can.
