Honestly you could go with alot bigger injector and they will help. If you want the full benefits of the larger injector you need to switch to a standard output or better yet a hot rod vp44.

I wouldnt stack anything with the Drag Comp. I would only stack a Drag Comp for timing with a straight fuel box like TST or Redline/FMS.

550 hp is about the limit of a HO pump no matter how or what you use to get there... ... . 165 hp injector is about the biggest you can use on a stock pump from what I have been told. You are probably around 450-470ish now I would think... ... so you are close.

You really need a bigger pump as mentioned earlier to get any more power. You would be lucky to get 60-70 more hp no matter what you do... ... .....

Forgive my ignorance, but why a standard output. I understand the hvp44, but I figured my HO was better than a SO

The standard output pump came on the 215hp auto, 235hp auto and 235hp manual trucks. The HO pump came with the 245hp manual trucks.

Max hp for the standard output on fuel with a single is around 650hp with an HO its about 550hp.

Yup... . the HO pump delivers more fuel in a single stroke and leaves less on reserve. The SO delivers less on initial stroke with more in reserve. HO also use a smaller injector over the SO from the factory, which is why they respond well to injector swaps... ... .....

Weird the way things work isn't it. I'm kind of scared of the reliability issues of the hvp. Are there any problems with putting an SO on a HO truck. Like ECM incompatibility?

You must use the SO ecm to get the full benefits of the SO pump. The HO ecm works, but doesn't let the SO pump run to full potential.
