Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injectors in Texas

Hey boys,



anybody interested in helping me. OK OK, showing me how to swap injectors? I'll drive to truck to where ever in TX(almost) if you can help me. I'm getting the transmission done so I figured might as well get the injectors too.



If you're available on a Monday or Tuesday (my days off) that be even cooler! I'll supply beverages of choice and food if anybody is interested. Time frame would some where in the next month.

Be sure to have the engine serial number handy when ordering the injectors. Some of the 98. 5 engines require some pieces not required on later engines. Have you got the injectors yet?

If you don't get it done before dyno day... . Floor It and myself should have the tools handy to do it.



I'm gonna dyno... ... then swap in some bigger injectors and go again. Least thats what I hope to do. We'll see if it goes as planned.

Dunno yet, either 2's or 3's. With my stock turbo I can't handle more than that and I don't have the wallet to upgrade the turbo on top of all of it. I'll see what I can find for how much... ..... wanna sell your III's... ... ... ... .

First off ... . please refrain from skirting around the "word filters". It gets you and in trouble ... and me too if I don't mention it



No... ... . onto the fun stuff. No I am not selling my III's... they stay. I am selling the BD IV's I have tho since I have a bigger set in mind. The III's are my winter injectors and lately been using them as my daily drivers.

I said something positive about ATS, that ATS being painted purple denotes royalty; it denotes that they are the "King of Transmissions". Why can't I say that if all the DDT guys say their is the "Best Trans".



Calling my choice "... and purple I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER" is an insult.

How would the DTT guys like it if I called DTT I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER?

And let me be clear here... I DO NOT for a minute think DTT is that.

I think Bill K. and his shop have done great work. I do happen to think ATS is better for me. So why can't I get a little hot when someone calls ATS "purple I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER" It is a heinous insult!

rraush, did you read the above? Insulting you, your choices or ATS for that matter was NOT my intention! If I did sorry, didn't mean to, was just a joke. Believe me the chat freaks got the joke!



If you must know, I'm a skydiving instructor and for the last couple of years a lot of skydivers are buying gear with PURPLE on it. The purple craze just came on the heels of a pink one. So a buddy and I founded S. A. P. P. S. (Skydivers Against Pink and Purple S***) I just adapted it for here. Before anybody ask..... my gear is royal blue & silver!
