Hello all. I've been searching the site for awhile now looking for some help. My 98. 5 is basically stock except Fass 150, big fuel line kit, BHAF and guages (fp, pyro, boost). I have 260000 on the truck and want to get performance boost that keeps my stock auto transmission happy. I noticed that most recommend a "box" as the first performance upgrade, but I was wondering since my stock injectors have 260k on them if I should go injectors first. Anybody have any thoughts and recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I put the Rv 275 injectors in and noticed a nice difference. Not to smokey, better mileage, pulled the fifth wheel real nice.

then I added a quadzilla boost fooler. nice up on top. kept the fueling up, had a little more boost. I never got a chance to pull anything all that far like that.

Now I took the boost fooler out and put in an Edge Juice. LOTS more power.

My injectors where changed on vacation. I was fighting some terrible mileage, and a bad studder. I pulled into an injection shop, they bench tested and found 6 injectors that could be the cause. 71000 miles. low pop pressure, poor atomization.

any way the exact same load home on the exact same roads, 10. 5 MPG out, 13. 5 MOG home

You want to keep your transmission happy. My stock clutch was ok with the 275's and the boost fooler.

I don't think it likes the juice so much.
