not sure what it's worth but i just dynoed saturday at 248 hp with 330 marine injectors, 215 truck with 309k miles stock plate in the middle a bhaf a ats 3 piece manifold and the timing at 16. 5, stock everything else
any ine else in here I was thinking of taking injectors out and taking them to a buddy's tool and die shop and haveing them drill the injectors out bigger can this be done I understand that if it is drilled out I would have to mic the drill bit so I made the hole the right size let me know go or bad idea and if possible what size the hole should be for hp increases
I personally would have them removed and taken in to a shop who EDMs the tips. That's what I did. My buddy runs a diesel performance shop and he sends his injectors in to a shop and they took my stockers, disassembled them, EDM'd some brand new tips and re-assembled them. Basically took the stockers and opened the tip up to flow equivalent to a 370. They have since them been opened up even more.
I would not try and drill them out yourself. Once you see the size of the 5 holes on the injector tip, you'll know why. Just get the professionally EDM'd, you can't go wrong and you'll love the results. Oo.
what is the cost to do it that way sound to me it would cost the same as buying the new aftermarkets purden the why I should don't know to much about the upgrade for the truck except what I read and learn from other the have down it
