Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injectors

I just won a set of 275 injectors off e-bay. The seller says they have 33k mi. on them. Should I have them checked? I think I,ve printed everything there is on installation, so I think it should be o. k.

I would have them checked. I bought a set of dd2's from a guy and put them in and they ran like crap. I pulled them out and had them checked and the pop pressures were all over the place. I called the guy and he said that they worked fine when he took them out. It was a PITA to take the new set out and put the old set back in again. Not a 5 min job.

It sure would not hurt and it should not cost that much to have em checked. Any Bosch injection shop should be able to do it for you.

Have them checked. I think its about $8. 00 per injector. Probably less if you get all 6 checked.



I would not run a used injector that is not checked.
