Archived injectors

The dealer broke two of my injectors. while reinstalling the wires to the injectors he broke two studs off. does anyone make aftermarket injectors or have some stock injectors? Evidently they are on national backorder.

Tell them to go get some injectors out of a truck on the lot, surely they have an 05 on the lot.

To answer your question, yes, numerous companies make aftermarket injectors, but they are mostly designed for better/more performance. I do not know for sure of anyone building stock replacement injectors. I'm curious to know how they broke them, but thats moot when you need your truck. Like JR2stock suggested, I'd suggest they get some off a truck on the lot. Is this warranty work? What was wrong with your truck that required them to pull the injectors?

Let's clarify here. NO, there are no aftermarket injectors out there for these trucks. But, YES, your injectors can be modified for additional power. This means, if your injectors are broke, they have to be replaced first.



Call Cummins with your engine serial number and you'll likely find they are in stock somewhere in the US.
