Injectors

I just replaced the injectors (Cummins rebuilts) and bled the heck out of the fuel lines, but now it is missing.

I've "cracked" the fittings while the engine is running to see which one is missing, but they all respond the way they are supposed to. Engine slows slightly as I do each cylinder.

Its a lot of work to replace them. Hope one of them isn't bad from the factory.

Any thoughts?

well dude, if it wasn't missing befor and now it is, i would think without a doubt it is the injectors. if you did everything right and bled it right that leaves only one thing. i would take them back and have them check them. and tell them you want to make sure they are ballanced. if it only misses at an idle it could be because the injectors are out of ballance[pop pressure].

I would take them back to Cummins and get the Lucas injectors. Seriously though, if you can't find a leak where air would be getting in, it is probably an injector. Although you should be able to tell which it is by cracking the lines over each injector individually.
