What aftermaket injectors is eveybody using?

Anyone use Jannetty's injectors, and if so what do you think about them?:)

I am wondering if I can put the DDI in with the current set-up I have and not worry about EGT's.

I have their TTPM module and would like just a "little" more but don't want to get myself over the edge when towing my TT

Okay so which ones the DD1, DD2, or DD3? Are there any problems to concern myself with going right for the DD3 making 100HP with everything else on the motor stock? Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm new to the diesel game.

Doesn't the DDIII's smoke real bad, Mark at TST said they tested a set and they poured smoke, wouldn't hurt my feelings my Jannetty injectors smoke fairly decent and they are only 20 hp less the DDIII's not to mention cheaper. 03 DODGE 80 HP INJECTORS

bCrowther, you would have to have a module of some type in there to allow for more boost. Whether you use the power in the box or not, you would also have to have an upgraded turbo for that much power, which also requires gauges, exhaust and airbox. Oh, and your stock clutch won't take the power either. :)

HotRam03, the 3's by themselves do not make much smoke at all... it's when you combine them with an aggressive box that they can smoke. With our version of the EZ (our TTPM), smoke is not too bad at low boost, but almost clean once on boost.

I have yet to begin bombing. Being a total newbie to the process, I've been searching through the 3rd gen forums for bombing tips. Two questions I haven't seen posed or answered, and which I am wondering about, are:

What's the max fuel pressure the Edge EZ allows?

How do the DD1s compare to the Edge EZ (on setting 3) in performance and smoke, especially in the lower RPMs?

I have a set of Diesel Performance Unlimited injectors in my '04. They make right about 150 HP. These injectors and an Edge EZ in SO, beats HO's w/the (DPU) 100 HP injectors and an Edge EZ.

200hp gain with an EZ and those injectors should put them right about 100hp by themselves. Did you ever dyno it with the box turned off?

Actually, that would put them at 130 HP. An EZ is only good for maybe 70 HP. 70 and 130 = 200 The other truck running these injectors is a SO motor putting down 431 HP. Thats about a 220 HP gain over stock with these injectors and an EZ. 70 and 150 = 220 There's your 150 HP Diesel Performance Unlimited injectors.

Keith, some of us do have BIGGER injectors than DD3's!!!

I have not dynoed my truck w/the electronics off, but I'll do so when I get the chance and post for ALL to see.

FYI, when you stack a box with injectors on the 3G's they tend to make more power. For instance, our 03 made 280hp stock, 392 with Stage 3's alone (TTPM on level 0), then 503 with the TTPM on level 4. The TTPM on the truck with stock injectors made 345hp.

Right at 65hp by itself for the box. Just over 100hp with just the injectors, but over 200 when combined. A box will make the injectors push more fuel, or the injectors will allow the box to move more - either way, the gains are more when the two are used in conjunction with each other.

Enjoy your injectors. :)

Blake did you dyno at the shop on Road 68 here in Pasco? I heard they put a dyno in there (dynojet?) and I've been meaning to stop by and check it out sometime. Heck I might want to check your ride out sometime too :D

Will your gains be better with injectors instead of a box? With the TTPM box there is a boost only setting and if you had injectors would you benefit more with that setup-------0 setting & DDI/DDII----instead of just the module
