The differance can be how many holes the fuel is pushed through to atomize it, how big the holes are, and at what psi they will pop at. The numbers you refer to would be what HP the factory motor was rated at that that particular part # injector came on. On a motor with a differant cam, piston shape, computor program, or compression you will get a differant result.

The ones you list (215's and 370's) denote they were the stock injectors in the 215hp offered engine (96-98 12v 5-speed trucks) or the 370 marine engine.

For your year, the Bosch upgrade would be the RV275hp injectors from the RV version 275hp rated engine. They would add about 25-30hp to your truck. Other, larger injectors, are offered from various vendors, including us.

thanks for the help guys! i want to get injectors in the future so i am doing my home work now. what injectors will smoke a little, alot, and not at all? what are the best, for towing, in conjunction with the edge ez or if i upgrade to the comp??

More power = more smoke. More power = more EGT. You have to set a HP goal, then pick the parts that will get you there. Then determine all the supporting equipment needed to control the EGT for those parts (exhaust, turbo, gauges, airbox, etc).

i am looking for 400-450 horse when i am done so first injectors then maybe a turbo. i have guages pyro boost and trans and a bhaf so what are my options and smoke does not bother me. :D i plan on doing my trans in the near future, and then more power. thanks again for the help!!!!

To get to 400-450 you are going to need a big injector. You need to do the transmission before or at the same time. Same goes for a turbo and air intake upgrade.

I guess I am at about 450 hp and you can see what I have in my sig.
