Also, should I get some metric deep sockets?



Gonna do KORE/Chase very soon and want to be prepared... . :D

Yes and yes.



Removing the liners makes it much easier to work with and around the shock towers.



A couple of the places you'll need deep sockets are the top of the front shocks and the U-bolts in the back. Depending on your normal sockets, you may also need/want deep sockets for the shock tower nuts, rear shock mounting nuts, and sway bar link nuts.
