Install EGT gage

I want to install an exhaust temperature gage in my new 2002 Diesel Ram. I'm not sure where to run the wires through the firewall. Would it be better to drill a new hole through the firewall? Thank you... . Any advice would be appreciated. Gary Y2K 2500 quad cab 4x4 HOsix speed all the goodies except leather

Gary, if look inside the cab at the firewall just to the left of the clutch pedal you will see a large rubber grommet there than can be pierced to pass wires into the engine bay. Believe me, you can get a LOT of wires through that grommet!
