Install manual transmission

Hey guys, does anyone have info on how easy it would be to install a manual transmission in my 92 w250. or maybe the better option is to find a transmission with auto O/D?

If you want a manual look at advance adapters but it is pretty strait forward , find a set of pedals get a transmission change the bellhouseing adapter change the flex plate for a cluth pressure plate and fly wheel and your good to go sould be some bone yards around with needed parts , no need to change any computers either

Your 92 came from the factory with a OD trans in it. Did someone change it to a 727 trans?


Going to a stick shift isn't to hard. Decide on the trans then the answers will be more accurate.

Dodge used two different 5 spds and two 6 spds. Any one of them can be used.
