Has anyone done this? My mechanic says Banks intentionally made it difficult to install E brakes other than their own on the 4" banks exhaust. Banks brakes are WAY more money than Pac and this guy said the pac for an 03 6spd. works better. Can someone tell me whether I should stick with Banks or do the modifications to allow a Pac installed?? Thanks for your time.

We offer an inline brake that installs in the exhaust tubing, based on its diameter... it has all the features of the direct mount unit that attaches to the turbo...

The kit includes all the wiring, brake, compressor, tank and other related parts... the only issue is that the pipe has to be cut where you wish to install the brake and we suggest that you or a muffler shop weld the mounting adapters to the pipe... this insures a good tight fit... . the only down side is that it takes maybe a second or two longer to charge the system with back pressure because of the size of tubing you have to back fill... .

Hope this make sense to you... . email me with the size of exhaust tubing your using and we can provide more information... . or look at Pacbrake Exhaust and Engine brakes The latest design, PRXB is available for your installation. .

Hope this helps...
