Installation of pyro sending unit

Okay guys, this is my first Pyro gauge that has a sending unit! On my last truck the pyro wire was directly installed to the gauge not requiring one. Well what I want to know is does the box have to be installed in the cab? I assume so but not sure, and where would the best place to access ignition power be? its an isspro EV series pyro. Thanks for the help!!

I used a mini-fuse add-a-circuit for my 12v with key on, but not accessory mode, fuse #17.

For my light circuit I used another mini-fuse add-a-circuit, fuse #5, which is the dimmer switch circuit.

Bought the add-a-circuit stuff at AutoZone.
