I put an electric brake contoller in, which is working fine, now I have no cruise... fuse is good, but I read an old post which talked about brake lights and cruise not working, it got me to thinkin'..... is there something i've done wrong ? Gotta have cruise..... gees

Your brake controller will have a connection which has to be grounded through the brake light circuit to disable the trailer brakes when you aren't applying the truck brakes. Speed control (in the case of aftermarket) also has to be grounded in order to operate. I don't remember if OEM cruise has to be grounded or hot to operate, but it has a separate portion of the brake light switch. Something is crossed up in your wiring . Time to go back and check what has been done again.
