Well only after 5 calls to bother the tech and them E-Mailing me a cheat sheet for the 2004. 5 under dash wireing harness the engine shutdown timer is installed. I am impressed with the timer and this is how it operates.
You use a (pot) rotary switch to set the time in this case 1-10 minutes of idle or you can ask for a unit that is set to your standard's then just turn off the engine and the unit times down to what-ever you set the switch to. You can still set the Dodge truck alarm and door locks if you want to. This unit is made in the U. S. and all part's are assembled in the U. S. now if they were only union. The install take's a few hour's and be sure to read the instruction's and get the underdash wire sheet from the tech it help's.
I guess I wont be cooking my turbo since I have the unit set for 6 min and the temp is 300 deg at shut down and that's here in L. A. :-laf
