Gotta love that sweet sound! A screeming turbo that is. It does seem to spool up faster. How long are they good for; I was thinking of changing every 15k miles. For the price I think they are a bargain for the filtering capacity. Makes a nice impression when you open the hood too!
They're rated for over 4 times the flow of the stock filter. If you're driving pavement, then you should be able to go 4 times longer than the stock, before you suck enough dirty air to clog that huge area. Would I really go 60k? Almost certainly not. Just wanted you to feel comfortable that it was OK to go more than 15k. Also, you can see this filter, so let your eyeballs help you decide when it's time.
I am still up in the ari about when to change the BHAF. Mine is kind of dirty looking but I know it is from an exhaust leak I hade for a week or so and not dirt so who knows. I think I might try to install a filter minder in the end of it and wait till it moves the minder.
