they fit real good. I had to modify the bracket that came with the unit but it fits great. Drilled two additional holes so it would center in the ABS fog light hole.

They look great. They were the MSC units bought from the group purchase.

waiting for them to come in did you use the stock wiring harness ? how much altering of the bracket did you have to do ?

Please post your feelings about the lights once they're in. I don't have the factory fog lights so anything I order would have to include the additional wiring harness. Any help would be appreciated.
TIA.

Got my Hyperwhite MSC's installed and I gotta say that I love them. It is pretty amazing seeing that these MSC's actually give out more light then my headlights. LOL

I agree. I have the gold MSC units and even they are very bright. I drove around with one MSC and one factory unit for two nights. The MSC is definitely brighter and seems to throw a wider beam in front of the truck.

The modificatons were minimal. Two holes in the CATZ bracket and splice connectors onto the factory harness to meet the CATZ units. All in all about 20 minutes per light to install... once you figure exactly how you want it done. They are centered nicely and look great. I can send a picture of them installed but they really do look like the factory units.

Shleets - Glad to hear you like your lights. My only complaint is that I wish that the beam would project in front of the truck a little further out. But oh well... got me a pair of MSX's that should arrive today to make up for the lack of light from our factory headlights. YIPPPEEEEE

Can you describe the difference between the standard and white lights in terms of illumination, color, etc. It seems all the new Audi's have factory installed bright whites... which are REALLY bright. Even though I like the whites I'm leaning towards the standard only because I don't want a vehicle inspection with non DOT lights. So, am I being too paranoid?
TIA.

Just got home, and the lights where here they came today they look nice #ad
, I can't wait to put them in but the weather is still a little _hity here so I will hold off. Maybe this week end.

Recieved mine the other day also from the group purchase. I have not had the time to install them yet but will post my findings. I especially like the switch. No more holes in the dash, just mount it directly. Small ultra thin and looks great. I can't wait.

I took the factory bulbs, and cut the glass off, leaving about 3/4" of the wire that stands the bulb off its mount. I then soldered the CATZ wires onto these wires on the old bulb socket, taped it up real well, and my CATZ now have a factory connector!

Bad weather? I laid under the truck with my shirt off and got sunburned. You mean it's cold somewhere in the U. S. ? #ad
