Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) installed injectors and dv now truck misses

hey guy I install my injectors and dv tonight truck is a rocket ship now but it smoke alot at idle and sputters if rev it real quick and let off it will pop somtimes and then driving down the road it sound like it is missing when you get to about 1/3 throttle I'm going to try bleeding the lind in morning I haven't done this yet some guys say you don't have to it will bleed its self out.



any help will be apreciated oh yea timing is still stock to

what size d/v and injectors?

Bump your timing to 16. 5 degrees.

there custom injectors are edm'd at 5 hole 16 and the dv would be equavalent to laser cuts.



and also when it missing under light throttle at like 40 mph it has a ping noise out the exhaust under heavy throttle it just shudders the truck do to it missing.

Yeah Def. throw some timing at it. 16. 5 Like ponci said is good for stock HG

Timing like that and that much fuel can make a stock HG go bye bye quickly, if not driven carefully. I'd not go above 16 degrees.



Bear in mind 12-valves can start getting temperamental and become more difficult to make run nice and smooth when you start turning them up and messing with the gov. springs.

I got truck fixed It was #5 cylinder injector got dirt in it when I put it in truck runs good but now another problem which I'm going to have to post
