Brand "New" Style of Dipricol gauges!!!

Amsoil Dual By-pass

I took the dive after reading numerous posts. I dont feel there is a big difference between manufactures. Here are some of the small reasons I went with jacobs.

1. Price $600 delivered to my door-jacobs

2. Both pac, banks & BD were more plus delivery

3. Jacobs defaults in the open position because its spring activated to open and vacuum to close. Less chance to stick closed because of a vacuum problem.

Install was much much easier them I thought it would be. 4. 5 hrs

The only snag was removing the cigarette lighter to access the power wire. What a pain! But I got it.

Test drive-awsome addition, would recommend it if you tow.

When I installed mine, I didn't hook up the light wire to the cigarette lighter. Instead, I hooked it to the pin wire from pin 20 of the ECM so the light only comes on when the switch is on and the brake is activated by the ECM. Easier too.

The best thing you can do is ditch the Jacobs dash switch and get the shift lever mounted switch from BD.

I've seen the shifter switch Pac makes, but I don't like a rocker switch mounted on the shift lever.

There's absolutely no reason you can't use the Jacobs rocker switch on the dash and the shifter mounted switch.

I have had mine since the first of the week. I can't wait to pull something. It is even a lot of fun driving in town empty. I have a gear shift switch. also.

I did also install a shifter mounted switch from pac. Much more convenient to use then the dash rocker. Paul

Bob V's super shifter and the stock switch (which I Never seem to use anymore)

Anyone who uses the brake when empty, watch those 4th gear down shifts with wet roads, especially empty. It started to rain (in aug) when I was finishing up my install, on the test drive, on an off ramp I grabbed 4th oops just a little bit sideways.

Have fun
