I bought a bumper from Rhino that has a built in back up sensor and installed it this weekend. So far I am extremely pleased. I had purchased one from Geno's a while back, but returned it as I was not happy with the construction. The Rhino is built into a small tube bumper that you can get in chrome or black, and it slides into your 2" receiver. It also means that it is removable, and easily unplugs. The install was easy, and the readout is small and easily placed. I put mine on the steering column, and it looks great.
The only negative, if you can call it that, is that it reads out in Meters instead of feet. If your old and stubborn like me, I would like to see it in feet. (Fortunately, I'm not so stubborn that I can't figure meters into feet) The read out starts at about 1. 7 meters (about 5-6'). It reads down to . 3 meters (about a foot) and then goes to zero. There are lights, a not too obnoxious beep, and a left and right sensor. In the center of the bumper is a plastic step pad, so it is functional as well.
JC Whitney is having a 15% off sale on them right now, and it comes with an additional $50 gift certificate. Not a bad deal.....
I'll post a picture if anyone is interested... ... ... ... Sarge
