Just installed the TST, max boost is low, I believe it was around 32 lbs on 7X7 . EGTS are HOOOTTTTT!!!! On 5X5 I hit 1475 within 2 seconds, on 4x4 about 4 secs. There is almost no smoke. The TST and the Edge Juice are about the same when the edge is on 5 and the TST is on 4x4. Just FYI! Let me know if these EGTS are normal if you would please!

3/3 is about all you can run with the stock air box. With the afe intake system you can run 4/4 if you have exhaust mods.

Thats nice to know because you probably have the latest version of the TST and it is alot milder on the TQ settings then the earlier boxes. I think that the HP settigns are about the same up to lvl 8 or maybe just less power jump inbetween the settings. As for the EGT's 3/3 is how its set up for towing, there is a decent power jump from 3/3-4/4 for this reason. I can run the 1/4 with the defuel set at 1400 on lvl 6/5 and it just barely trips and comes back on once when I go through the beams. We need a way to manipulate the torque managment system on these 3rd gens, its horrable for 60 ft times.

I believe 32 psi is about all the stock turbo can handle. I was surprized to see 414 HP on 4/4 with out going over 1300 *F. The stock torque converter will not handle much power . A lot of power is wasted til the converter locks up. As soon as I have time I'm going to have a Sun Coast Pro-Lok converter and valve body installed.
 
I can run mine on 6/6 all day with no EGT issues... as in under 1300.



I run it at 9/6 sometimes to blow smoke on the interstate or off the line... my clutch holds and I am putting down 479HP... my EGT's will hit 1600 if I stay in it for more than 4 seconds though.



Some may say the torque is at a low setting or that the new box is gentle, but i don't get why everyone is running these boxes so low... my dyno numbers tell a different story.
