Makes a difference, wish I had a soundmeter. It made about the same in noise reduction as the underhood blanket. A little pricey, but heck, they put a metal tag with your name on it on the product. Advanced Thermal Products

Drove truck tonite (after it was fully warmed up) and feel that the valve cover insulation at least equalls and probally exceeds noise reduction by under hood blanket. Just hums now at 70 MPH and 4. 10's!
