Installing EGT Probe

I and my buddy are installing gauges tomorrow on our trucks. One question. the instructions say nothing about using any kind of high-temp sealant on the NPT threads. Not that there is anything that will hold up at those temperatures. Do I need any thing or will they seal themselves? New ISSPRO style gauges. And what about Boost? We are using the suggested instalation point by removing an intake manifold bolt and replacing with supplied hollow bolt. then torqing to 12 ft/lbs.

I think the instructions with mine said to put neversieze on the threads and that was it.

i second that last post! thats what the banks kit i just installed said to do and they even included it in the kit. thats what most of the shops do. its a grey color!

Yep antisieze is the way to go with rapid cooling and heating
