Installing factory keyless entry? Whose done it?

My '03 3500 did not come with factory keyless entry... . I purchased one of those kits off Ebay that has the factory key fob and "computer", but it didn't come with instructions (even though in his ad it clearly states comes with instructions).

I did a search on here but did not find any instructions... . has anyone done it? Is it easy? Thanks!

I've done it and yes it is easy! Remove the trim around your radio by removing the screw under the garbage bag holder and then pulling the trim straight back. Place a soft rag over your column to protect it from any scratches. Then you'll have to remove the screws that hold your instrument cluster and the trim above it. Pull the cluster back towards yourself as much as possible. I did not unplug the cluster to do this. Then just plug in the new module to the connector located in the center rear portion of the cluster. Its a little tight to get it by the cluster but not impossible. When your all done you'll have to take it to the dealer to have them program your computer to recognize the module. My dealer said he does it all the time and charged me $35.

Oops, forgot to mention you have to pull back on the trim around the cluster - no screws, just pull it back towards yourself after removing the trim around the radio.
