Hi All,

Installing a HTT manifold this weekend.

I use the auto hobby shop on Camp Pendleton to do the work. They have a parts counter, but unfortunately they were out of Loctite and Anti-Seize. Are these necessary?

I am using all new hardware that I went and purchased from the local dodge dealer, and the manual does not mention using either.

I am at a point where I can pull the turbo back out pretty easily and use either or both tomorrow.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

It will be fine! Just check the bolts after it has heated up a few times. I always check my manifold bolts at each oil change mainly the 8 outer bolts.

Anti-seize is just for later down the road anyway. Makes the bolts easier for removal. I don't think the loctite is necessary, at those temps I don't think it'd be any good to ya anyway.
