Installing New Exhaust Tip

My wife got me a new 4" to 5" exhaust tip from Geno's for a stocking stuffer



Tried it for fit and it seemed really tight, as in it won't fit!



Should I try and put in in the oven to see if it will expand enough so I can slide it on with some wd-40?

Are you talking about the stainless one?

I have the aFe exhaust and it would barely fit. I pulled out on the gap to open up the hole a little bit and was able to get the tip on. It is a very tight.

I putting it on my 2008 Mega Cab. I will try tto open the gap up and if that doesn't work I think I will try the oven and WD-40 method.
