Installing performance chip on 6.7

According to Dodge they have a way of telling if you chipped your 6. 7L. I have to assume there is a log of some sort that is stored within the ecm or something like that. I chipped my 1999 5. 9L and that not only increased my fuel milage but it also performance. Is there a way the new 6. 7L can be chipped and not void the warranty?

anytime you do anything like that you become you own waranty station, that said if the tech is good they can find it. it does up the milage and power but on the new trucks with the DPF it will speed up the plugging of it and increase the regen times unless you get rid of the DPF and egr and do it right.

Always looking for more power..... But the real reason is fuel..... I chipped, MBRP exhaust and AFE Stage 2 paid off with my 99 5. 9... .....

It's a whole other ball game with the 6. 7! The 5. 9's of that era were easy to modify without a whole lot of worries. With the DPF and other crap the EPA has forced upon us, it ain't so easy with the new ones.
